The innovative A-BUS(R) system makes it incredibly easy to bring Harman Kardon sound to a remote room. Thanks to a built-in amplifier and a single-cable connection to any A-BUS/READY(R) receiver or the ABH 4 all you need to do is connect the speakers use your Zone II remote or the up/down volume control and musical pleasure is yours throughout your home.

*Easy to install in standard UL/CSA electrical J-box (junction box).
*Accepts user-supplied Decora(R) cover plate to match other electrical devices.
*Onboard amplifier powers one pair of 6 - 8-ohm speakers (sensitivity greater than 88dB) without additional equipment. Toggle switch controls volume.
*Uses industry-standard powered A-BUS(R) connection without need for external power supply.
*Integrated IR sensor relays commands from Harman Kardon Zone II remotes to A/V receiver via the A-BUS connection without additional devices or wires.


*System Requirements : Use with AVR 630 AVR 430 AVR 7200 AVR 525 AVR 325 or other A-BUS/Ready(R) audio components via Cat. 5 cable.
*Wire Type Required : Category 5/5e (or better) cable in compliance with any applicable local building code or NEC requirements for in-wall riser or plenum use.
*Wiring Protocols : TIA wiring specification for T568A at the A-BUS/Ready product end. Connections at the AB 1 are specified on the AB 1.
