How do I enter my Canon photocopier meter read?

On the newer Canon models IR models a counter check button is located on the top of the machine control panel.

This is usually identified by the numbers 123 or the name Counter Check Please see the picture below.

Push this button and your meter readings will display in the screen.

After pressing the counter check button you should see a screen in the following format:

• Total 101     07528997     (Total Meter Count)
• Total 102     00025557     (Color)
• Total 103     02277777      (Black and White)

On the older Canon models open the front door to the copier (as if there were a paper jam) and you will see an odometer with numbers revealing your meter reading.

Canon GP & NP Model range
For all models Open front door and look for the meter inside [it is mechanical and will look like a car odometer], if it is not inside the front cover check both the side panels.
